Responsibilities
- Select and verify merchandise using handheld scanners and pick lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for certified candidates).
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS) quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions when moving freight to/from loading docks.
