Responsibilities
- Select, verify, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to pick tickets and safety guidelines.
- Utilize handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Pack, label, and wrap items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to 5S operational principles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification provided).
- Collaborate effectively with the packing and shipping teams to meet daily production quotas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to read barcodes and pick lists accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks) and rotating shifts.
