Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select items from the warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment using handheld scanners and RF equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by tagging and organizing stock efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, forklifts (after training), and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking and packing orders to minimize errors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using scanning devices.
