Job Summary
As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for retrieving, picking, and packing merchandise with speed and accuracy. You will work closely with our inventory management team to ensure that every order is processed correctly and shipped on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and pick merchandise from warehouse shelves using scanners and pick lists, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Package, label, and prepare orders for shipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when certified or trained.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in a standing environment for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
