Responsibilities
- Accurately select and verify merchandise from shelves using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Package items securely and prepare them for outbound delivery.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hiring).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Report damaged inventory, missing items, or safety hazards to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with the packing and shipping departments to meet daily production goals.
- Participate in regular safety training and inventory audits.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills (ability to read labels and instructions).
- Willingness to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
