Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control procedures, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping accuracy
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory, generate reports, and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage warehouse layout and equipment maintenance for maximum efficiency
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
