Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise 15+ warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift operators
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain zero-accident record
- Optimize inventory management systems using WMS software (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Analyze KPIs to improve productivity metrics (order accuracy, cycle time, throughput)
- Manage warehouse budget and control operational costs
- Resolve escalated customer and vendor issues with professionalism
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of reducing costs and improving efficiency
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
