Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to streamline workflow and reduce costs.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between management, staff, and external vendors regarding daily operations and schedules.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification is required.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and handle conflict resolution effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
