Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting training sessions and performance evaluations.
- Enforce strict safety compliance and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and reduce waste.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including shift scheduling, overtime management, and resolving operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure all shipping, receiving, and documentation processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with upper management to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification and proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse workforce effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
