Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 10-15 team members, fostering a culture of safety and productivity
- Implement lean practices to optimize inventory control and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing teams for efficient supply chain flow
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Experience with 3PL operations advantageous
