Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance in all operations
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless loading/unloading of shipments
- Process and analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- Proven track record of supervising 10+ employees
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Advanced proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
