Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety compliance
- Optimize inventory control processes using WMS systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with carriers and cross-functional teams
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve throughput by 20%
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA regulations
- Generate performance reports and implement corrective action plans
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules for forklifts and conveyor systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Proven track record in reducing operational costs and improving KPIs
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
