Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ warehouse team members across shifts, ensuring productivity and safety compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement lean warehousing practices
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations for refrigerated and dry goods
- Conduct daily safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Manage warehouse budget, equipment maintenance, and process improvements
- Collaborate with transportation and supply chain teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 credentials required
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Alaska climate-specific warehouse protocols
- Proven ability to lead in unionized environments preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
