Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring performance targets are met
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and maximize efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely dock scheduling and load planning
- Utilize WMS software for inventory tracking and reporting
- Conduct regular audits and process improvements
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams for inventory forecasting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and warehouse management software
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
