Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping logistics
- Train and supervise 15+ team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize workflow efficiency through lean methodology implementation
- Manage inventory accuracy and coordinate cycle counts
- Resolve operational issues and maintain equipment maintenance schedules
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution centers
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety audits
