Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor 10+ staff members through performance coaching and training initiatives
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes using lean principles for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production targets and deadlines
- Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and operational procedures
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory, generate reports, and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety management credentials
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team development success
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying climate conditions
