Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular facility inspections
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient dock scheduling and load planning
- Implement lean practices to reduce processing time by 15% quarterly
- Generate daily/weekly reports on productivity, safety, and inventory metrics
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and maintain 98% order fulfillment rate
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
