As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll oversee 20+ team members, optimize inventory workflows, and maintain OSHA compliance in our 50,000 sq ft facility. Our Tucson location is a key regional hub serving major retailers and e-commerce partners, offering unparalleled visibility in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor 20+ warehouse staff on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet daily/weekly KPI targets
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and forklift operator certification
- Collaborate with transportation team to ensure timely delivery schedules
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift Operator Trainer certification
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Proven experience managing 15+ team members with performance metrics
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends during peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
