Responsibilities
- Manage 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement lean methodologies
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident safety culture
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
- Analyze KPIs to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
- Lead cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Proven leadership abilities in union/non-union environments
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
