Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and efficiency standards
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Optimize workflow processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Manage team scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience with leadership exposure
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
