Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 10-15 warehouse associates with performance metrics and coaching
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage inventory control systems including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless transportation and storage solutions
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities and compliance records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience in distribution or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field required
