Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Train and supervise 8-12 team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Optimize inventory management through cycle counts and WMS utilization
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with inventory management systems
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 credentials preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work alternative schedules including early mornings or weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
