Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance standards and safety protocols
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Generate performance reports and operational metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
