Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor team members through our structured paid training program
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety standards and compliance procedures
- Optimize inventory control systems and accuracy through lean methodologies
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Utilize WMS software for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1-3 years warehouse experience or willingness to complete paid training
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through training)
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
