Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff across receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and environmental controls for -20°F facilities
- Coordinate with procurement team for JIT inventory replenishment
- Implement lean principles to reduce operational costs by 15%
- Manage cross-functional dock scheduling for 50+ daily truck movements
- Generate KPI reports on productivity, safety, and quality metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in cold chain or food logistics
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operator credentials
- Expertise in WMS systems (Manhattan or Oracle preferred)
- Proven track record in labor cost optimization and productivity improvement
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong Alaska commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
- Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance standards
