Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily inbound, outbound, and stockroom operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Analyze warehouse workflows and implement strategies to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and safety inspection of forklifts and material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or inventory control.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training certification.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflict, and improve team performance metrics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle.
