Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Train and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and operator training
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- High school diploma; associate degree preferred
