Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 warehouse staff during shift operations, ensuring task completion and productivity targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, including inventory management and quality control
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and company procedures
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and facility to maintain operational standards
- Generate reports on inventory levels, productivity metrics, and operational issues
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve delivery discrepancies and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and reporting
