Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system audits
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Train staff on equipment operation and warehouse management systems
- Resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) like SAP or Oracle
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team management success
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
