Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage, mentor, and train warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive, safety-conscious work environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to minimize accidents and hazards.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control procedures to prevent shrinkage and stock discrepancies.
- Analyze operational metrics and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving efficiency measures.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to schedule shipments and manage inbound/outbound logistics effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of managing a team and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
