Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including inventory management and cycle counting
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Train and develop team members on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance efficiency
- Generate performance reports and identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
