Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and inventory control systems
- Optimize workflow efficiency using lean principles and WMS technology
- Conduct regular audits and reporting on productivity metrics and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless inventory replenishment and order fulfillment
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization and process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and AS/RS technology
- Proven ability to meet KPIs in fast-paced distribution environments
- Forklift certification and CPR/First Aid training required
