Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain accident-free operations
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and cost reduction
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely shipping and receiving schedules
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management/supervisory experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
