Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Implement OSHA-compliant safety protocols and conduct regular inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional operations between receiving, storage, and shipping departments
- Drive process improvements using Lean methodologies to reduce waste by 20%
- Manage warehouse technology including WMS systems and automated material handling
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting KPI dashboards
- Proven track record in process improvement and cost reduction
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends during peak seasons
