Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement lean practices to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular facility inspections
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory and warehouse metrics
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
Qualifications
- 5+ years in warehouse management with supervisory experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience with cross-functional team leadership in fast-paced environments
