Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and develop a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with transportation team to coordinate inbound/outbound logistics
- Analyze KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse automation
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with JIT and lean manufacturing principles
