Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload temperature-controlled vehicles and organize inventory in FIFO/FEFO systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and specialized cold-storage equipment safely
- Conduct daily safety inspections of storage areas and refrigeration units
- Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and GMP protocols for food/pharmaceutical handling
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification and pallet jack operation proficiency
- Strong physical stamina for lifting (up to 50 lbs) and repetitive motions
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols
