Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and manage team of 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Implement lean principles to optimize inventory control and space utilization
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory and generate performance reports
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution centers
- OSHA Forklift certification and Hazardous Materials handling preferred
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
