Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate inventory control systems.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and minimize accidents.
- Operations Efficiency: Streamline workflows, manage shipping and receiving processes, and optimize storage layouts.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
