Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Train and supervise 8-12 warehouse team members, providing clear guidance on safety protocols
- Implement inventory control procedures using WMS software to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Optimize workflow efficiency to meet daily productivity targets
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of trailers
- Generate daily performance reports for senior management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong leadership potential and ability to motivate teams
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite, inventory systems)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- No warehouse experience required - we provide full training!
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
