Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and inventory control systems
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate inventory movements
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory control and process improvement
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
