Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and manage 10-15 team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Conduct regular equipment inspections (all provided) and report maintenance needs
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience
- Forklift certification (provided if needed)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with WMS systems and barcode scanning technology
