Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement and optimize safety protocols (OSHA compliance) to maintain accident-free operations
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and timely shipments
- Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
- Conduct daily operational briefings and maintain efficient workflow scheduling
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams to maintain supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management preferred
