Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and develop a team of 12-15 warehouse associates through training and performance coaching
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy exceeds 99.5%
- Collaborate with transportation team to ensure timely shipments and dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Forklift Operator certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
