Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15-20 warehouse staff, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to safety protocols
- Oversee daily receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and shipment coordination
- Manage warehouse KPIs including order accuracy, cycle times, and inventory accuracy
- Handle employee scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 hour training preferred
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
