Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor team of 10-15 warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and conduct cycle counts
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and inventory teams
- Analyze operational metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Resolve escalated customer/vendor issues with professionalism
- Utilize WMS software to monitor workflow and productivity
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
