Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve stock accuracy, and optimize storage space.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to forecast staffing needs and schedule shifts during peak seasons.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and generate reports.
- Resolve operational issues efficiently and communicate effectively with upper management.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Valid forklift certification and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
