Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring maximum efficiency, accuracy, and safety compliance across all departments.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and ensure accurate inventory reconciliation using WMS systems.
- Process Optimization: Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement strategies to reduce costs and increase throughput.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-incident workplace environment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of stock and shipping procedures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator certification (must be willing to obtain additional certifications as needed).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and overtime during peak seasons.
