Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and OSHA compliance to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a high-productivity and positive work culture.
- Optimize workflow processes and implement lean initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on operational metrics, including productivity and absenteeism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams effectively.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics preferred.
