Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping activities.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maximize productivity and team performance.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics coordinators to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address disciplinary issues as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Forklift certification and physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
